Time…a Nonrenewable Resource
Time is something we never seem to have enough of. Not until it’s often too late.
What are you doing that could be draining your precious time, or wasting it?
Time is something we never get back. Once this moment in time is passed, you’ll never see it again. If you live your life thinking ‘I’ll have time for that just as soon as _____” then you’re wasting precious time you’ll never regain. It’s a simple fact of life, whether you own your own business or not. Time keeps going, regardless of what you choose to do with it. If you aren’t careful with how you choose to spend it, time will get away from you, and you may find yourself missing out on the things that mean the most to you – the really important stuff like holidays with your family, lazy days with that special someone, an opportunity to make valuable connections with friends or colleagues. These are the things that make our lives worth living…those special moments in life that stay with us through the years.
If you can’t make the commitment to yourself to give yourself that time, then what are you going to commit to? Where will you be when you finally realize what time it is and what you’ve let slip by you?
Time does not renew itself. If you don’t conserve it and use it for what’s important, eventually you’ll run out. Then what will you do?
Just something to think about for those of us who tend to let time get away from us all too often.
