You have so eloquently described in words what I have been feeling for a few months now, since I learned my account in this community had been deleted. I too volunteered my time and believed in the direction and goals of the community but felt the stanglehold getting tighter and tighter as the organizer pushed further down our throats, her ideals, as well as her definition of a virtual assistant. Toward the end of my association with this organization, it became more and more evident that there were many hidden and personal agendas that were being pursued. It is a damned shame as I too enjoyed networking with friends and fellow VAs in this community...but there are certainly many other networks and communities that embrace VAs like ourselves.
